What do you think it's going to be about? but I think that even he feels that Snake's story has been drawn out long enough.

If he were to go in the direction of a game set in the past, I would much like to hear more about how the Cobra Unit was formed, more about The Boss, etc.

What do you want to see? Perhaps a new protagonist that has never been mentioned in any of the MGS games that is being used by the government to preform secret ops missions? Or maybe someone that has a large fanbase like Gray Fox, exploring what happened to him before/after he became a cyborg? Give us your opinion.

*edit: I recently picked up the MGS HD collection, if anyone has this on PS3 and cares to play some Peace Walker sometime, send me a friend request and we'll take down some robots together

This is TREMENDOUS news! As long as Kojima is in charge, it doesn't even matter what it's going to be about

But, yeah, I'd like to see some more Boss action. "Invasion of Normandy" is a perfect setting, make it happen Kojima!

As long as they make MGS Rising a game that lets you experience the game in multiple ways in the same way that MGS4 allowed you to do (get through the entire game without being seen, or shooting your way through without giving a damn if you have a kill count of 100+) I don't seen another reason for another Raiden based game but I'm for anything at this point like both you and Rosseter. If they did go in the direction of making Rising a Hack-n-Slash action game I would welcome another game featuring Raiden perhaps during the time of him and realizing the true potential he has with time. Hell, that sounds like a good idea to use for Rising if I say so myself. But only time will tell. I can't wait for the new releases!

Well, they have been recruiting for Big Boss, no?

I've read this ad somewhere that depicts "BIG BOSS WANTS YOU! THE NEXT METAL GEAR".

And it comes from oficial sources, so I don't know, we could see Big Boss.



What I'd love to see would be Metal Gear And Metal Gear: Solid Snake from Big Boss' point of view. That'd be awesome!

I would really like a MGS game where Big Boss is in the LRRP and finds some MGS 1 characters like Sniper Wolf, Naomi, and also Gray Fox story.

But a Boss story would be nice as well.

Long Range Reconnaissance Patrols, it's a special recon military unit from back in the day, in the story Big Boss was in this group and did missions in Vietnam.

Apparently the Normandy Invasion idea was scrapped, but I'd love to see it come to fruition once again. I think the only logical place to head now is backwards in time, for yet another prequel, and the only person I can see taking the reigns from farther back than the Cold War is The Boss, who will definitely please fans. Seeing the origins of the Cobra Unit will be pretty awesome too! Regardless, I'm happy Kojima is back in charge to safeguard the main canon.
